Limbic Stress Analysis (LSA)

LSA is the latest alternative health and biofeedback technology that assists complementary health practitioners to find imbalances and health issues occurring within humans and animals.

  • Bringing the body back into harmony
  • Balancing the body in response to what it needs
  • Offering a better quality of life… naturally!

Feel better than you ever thought possible with cutting edge technology that will assist you in balancing your body naturally!

LSA is a comprehensive biofeedback system that determines the body’s response to stressors. Once identified, the system establishes a program to best fit your body’s particular needs and a plan of action is developed, giving you answers to your unique healthcare questions.

How does it work?

The client’s hands are placed on small hand cradles, creating an electronic “conversation” between the client’s skin (the largest organ) and the LSA. This allows the body to communicate both physical and emotional imbalances. In response, the LSA begins to pinpoint the best approach to bring the body back into balance.

What is Bio-feedback?

Biofeedback is the term used for a treatment method that uses monitoring devices to help people consciously assess and regulate their bodily functions. It is one of several methods approved by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for use as a complementary therapy. Complementary therapies are those that are used along with conventional medical treatments to treat an illness or symptom.

Who can benefit from the LSA?

Everyone! Whether you struggle with chronic fatigue, hormone imbalance, chronic illness, allergies, chronic fatigue, blood sugar problems and or bowel problems, or with less chronic problems such as headaches, lack of energy, poor sleep, aching joints or infections, the LSA will quickly and non invasively measure and analyze what your body needs to maintain healthy equilibrium.

The focus of an LSA session is to address your health needs by pinpointing imbalances and addressing them in response to input from your body. The LSA is a remarkable tool to accelerate healing.

It supports your body’s natural ability to heal
Is totally painless and non-invasive
Increases your daily energy and
It’s great for the whole family!

We can help with:

The LSA System was developed to measure the body’s Stress System. Much like a polygraph technician asking a subject questions and evaluating the body’s response, the LSA uses the Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) to measure the Stress System’s response to virtual stimuli in real time. In a sense the LSA asks the body questions and measures how the body responds. This information leads to the creation of a “Stress Profile” which reveals the state of balance and imbalance within the Stress System. The LSA next queries the body with possible balancing solutions and measures the response to determine the best approaches.

Through implementation of these solutions the Stress System can become more balanced which leads to improved quality of life for the individual.

How the LSA System works

What is Stress?

Stress is your friend.

When you hear the word “stress” you probably think of that emotional tension or that nervous feeling that comes from a heavy workload or an approaching deadline. The clinical definition of stress, however is a positive thing. In fact, without stress you’d be dead.

Physiological stress is your body’s reaction to any stressor in an attempt to maintain balance. Stressors can be environmental, emotional, or physical. For example, fatigue from staying up too late, the emotional strain from a death in the family, or a flu virus that has invaded your body are all stressors.

The body’s systems are designed to operate with high energy, good health, and general homeostasis (balance). Stressors threaten to upset optimal balance because your body has limited resources to react to them.

While a healthy, balanced body has the capacity to deal with most stressors, an overtaxed or overstressed stress system eventually experiences difficulty in pushing back. The results of this can be fatigue, pain, weight gain, and susceptibility to illness. At this point, clinical intervention can support the body and help it restore balance.

The next question is, “What solutions will best help the patient regain balance.” There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Because every body is unique, a solution that works for Jane may not work for Sally, even though their general symptoms are the same.

Using patent pending stimulus-response technology, the LSA creates a personalized “Stress Profile” of the patient that guides the practitioner in making patient-specific decisions for remedies and/or therapies that bring the Stress System back into optimal balance.

Reestablishing balance restores the body’s ability to deal effectively with stressors and supply the body’s needs, which results in the quality of life you only dreamed of.

Measuring the Stress System

A measurable physiological marker was discovered in the 1930’s that corresponds to fluctuations in the stress system and provides useful clinical information.

When your body encounters a stressor and “stresses back,” the ability of the body’s largest organ – the skin – to conduct minute electrical impulses varies. This change in conductivity is called Galvanic Skin Response, or GSR.

The LSA System harnesses this reaction by applying its library of computer-generated virtual stressors. These signals are associated with over 30,000 assessable items, making the LSA an extremely versatile tool.

The system emits the chosen signals, then records and analyzes the body’s reaction to them. Groups of items are selected by the operator for assessment. Each item tested takes one second.

Along with various graphical representations of the results, the software displays the body’s reaction to each as a negative (which indicates a stress response) or positive (which indicates a balance response) number called a dR or deviation Ratio; the larger the dR, the more significant the response.
